Games

One of the most popular highlights of the previous Látkép Festival was the escape room, which offered a memorable experience with its creative puzzles. This year, we’re once again offering a more relaxed form of entertainment—this time in a new format: games for those who would like to unwind between sessions and awaken their inner childlike curiosity.

🎨 Hang It on Your Wall!

Have you ever dreamed—while browsing through an auction catalogue—how amazing it would be to have that artwork hanging on your wall? If so, here’s your chance to play with that idea! You won’t need a thick wallet—just knowledge of the knight’s move from chess, which will help you navigate the oversized game board and collect the paintings that catch your eye.
And if you consider yourself a true art collector, you’ll focus not only on estimated value, but also on building a collection around a personal concept—making your set even more valuable.

Hang It on Your Wall! is a blown-up, art history-themed version of the beloved retro board game Élve fogd el! ("Catch It Alive!"). It can be played by 2 to 8 players, with 3 to 5 being ideal.
The base version requires no prior art historical knowledge and can even be enjoyed by older kindergarteners. The more advanced level involves some art history knowledge, but players are welcome to use the internet or the game guide to help.

Game duration is approximately 30 minutes—perfect for a light and fun break between conference sessions.
