Discover the Hidden Treasures of the Academy!
As part of the Látkép 2025 Art History Festival, the staff of the Art Collection of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences invite visitors to two special guided tours through the representative halls on the first floor of the Academy’s headquarters.
Visitors will have the opportunity to admire the ceremonial hall adorned with murals by Károly Lotz, the presidential and portrait rooms featuring depictions of former academicians, as well as the historic reading room where the Academy’s weekly meetings were once held.
This is a rare opportunity to explore the dignified interiors of the headquarters under expert guidance!
Please note that the Guided Tours will be held in Hungarian. English interpretation will not be provided.
